Layla shows an error when starting a chat after an update, how to fix?

Sometimes during model loading or after updating, you may get an error like this:

Usually, these kinds of errors can be fixed by going to the Settings page -> scroll down -> clear cache.

It is very very rare for an error to occur that needs re-download of models or re-download of the app. Clearing the cache is designed to reset the app into a clean state.

Note: after clearing the cache, characters will load slowly the first time.
